- Warm water

- Sanding blocks or sandpaper with 80-220 grit
- Old toothbrush
- Protective eyewear
- Rubber gloves
- Dust mask
- Paint stripper
- 0000 steel wool
- Paint
- Primer
- Putty knife
- Wood stain
- Paint brush or nap rollers
- Furniture wax, oil, topcoat, or varnish.
